The Camera Link standard was introduced in 2000 consisting of three data transfer speeds, Base, Medium and Full.
CL Base is a single cable solution offering up to 255 MB/S
CL Medium is a dual cable solution offering up to 510 MB/S
CL Full is a dual cable solution offering up to 680 MB/S
Later a fourth standard was added, CL 80-bit which is a dual cable solution offering up to 850 MB/S
BitFlow has been offering Camera Link products from the original release of the standard. In 2015 BitFlow released the Axion-CL family which is our sixth generation of CL frame grabbers. While this standard has been around a long time, it is definitely one of the powerhouses of machine vision.
